January Meeting - Jeffrey Arcand, VA3PEW will tell us how he Organizes a Community Service Radio Event

Jeffrey Arcand, VA3PEW will be our guest speaker at the January 2020 OARC meeting. He will be speaking on the subject of Organizing a Community Service Radio Event. Even though he is a relatively new Amateur, Jeffrey has become a key person organizing community events requiring amateur radio communications. These include, but are not limited to, CN Cycle, the Women’s March and the Rideau Lakes Cycle Tour. Jeffrey’s outstanding contribution to the hobby has been recognized by the OARC - he is the 2018 winner of the Joe Norton Award.
The January meeting will be held on January 8 at 7:30 pm. We have been re-booked to the Festival Boardroom (first floor) for January at Ottawa City Hall.
